Keith Hennessey sums it up well, a hold your nose and let it happen vote by congress to pass S.3412 - a bill the Democrats OWN - and let them live with the consequences. It gets Republicans off the hook for the Fiscal Cliff and hangs it on the Dems. And it certainly is more palatable then what the Dems are demanding right now.
